Four Things To Think About When Selling On Vinted

08/07/2024

Not long ago thrifting was all about charity shops and often coming home empty-handed. Now people can find what they want from the comfort of their home.

Reselling sites such as eBay and Facebook marketplace have become extremely handy for people who like to thrift and even make extra money from selling their preloved items.

Therefore, it’s not a surprise that Vinted has become a dream for thrifters. Vinted has made it simple for you to shop for and sell second-hand clothing and has made it a safe place to do so.

If you are looking to declutter your wardrobe and make some extra cash, have a look at these tips:

Know What Is Popular

On Vinted the most popular categories are kids and women. So, if you are sorting through these from your home, think about posting them on Vinted before you take them elsewhere. You can also sell other items like toys, homeware, and beauty products, however, clothing does the best.

How Can You Get More Sales On Vinted?

There is a social aspect to Vinted. It’s all about being polite and letting people know a little bit about yourself. There is a section where you can write a small bio and let people know what you are going to sell and what types of things you are looking to buy. You can also let people know if you are willing to accept offers on your items. Make sure you are friendly and polite and you should do well. It’s a good idea to follow other users and send offers to people who have liked your items too.

Create Quality Posts

Think about when you shop on Vinted. What types of items are you most attracted to? What are their pictures and descriptions like? You will likely see good-quality pictures that show the items at a variety of angles. If there are any flaws with the items you should take a separate picture and then pass it into the description. Talking about the description, you need to make sure you provide as many details as possible. Mention any defects, how to item fits, how many times it has been worn, if it has been worn etc.

Think About Reviews

On Vinted you can leave reviews when you make a purchase and you can receive reviews when you buy and sell. This means that when you are selling you need to ensure you are truthful about the items, you pack them nicely and you do it promptly. If you want to make your packaging extra special you could think about looking at sticker printing and add some thank stickers to your wrapping or even print your Vinted name onto them. When you pack your parcels make sure to take extra care to put the correct label onto the right parcel.

These tips should help you to make a little bit of extra cash on Vinted. Do you know any other tips that could help? Please share a few in the comments below.
