Get a good cart

If you’re wanting to create a stunning living space at home, then the bar cart needs to accommodate the rest of your home. When it comes to having a good bar cart, it all starts with having a good cart. There are plenty of styles to choose from thankfully. So no matter what your budget, you’re guaranteed to get a great one. IKEA sells carts, but there are some that are meant to be bar carts.

You can even check out your local antique store to see if they have any vintage antique carts. Some come in two-tiers while others come in three. So just make sure you get one that you feel will suit you best.

Get those essentials

Now, you’re going to want to make sure that you’re well stocked with all the boozy essentials. You can make it easier on yourself by getting some cocktail kits and filling up your bar cart with that. But you can also feel free to get some of your favourite alcoholic beverages as well from wine to tequila.  But having some of the more essential ingredients will help when making cocktails as well. In general, you’re going to want to stay nicely stocked.

Get the right tools

Not only are tools needed for creating some of those delicious cocktails, but they can also be great for accessorizing your bar cart as well. Some of the standard tools that are needed will include:

  • Jigger
  • Peeler
  • Bottle Opening
  • Muddler
  • Cork screw
  • Shaker
  • Barspoon

These are just a few of the tools you’ll need when  making cocktails. But a lot of these come in a variety of styles and colors, so they can be perfect for adding that much needed colourful touch to your cart.

Glassware

You cannot forget about the glassware. It’s just off drinking a glass of wine in a cup meant for scotch, right? Of course it is! Glassware is not just needed for the drinking experience, but it’s also needed for adding those little details to the bar cart itself. Glasses come in a variety of unique shapes, colours, and sizes so feel free to pick out glassware that complements your style.

Don’t forget those little touches

If you really want to take your bar cart up a notch then you’re going to have to add some little touches to it. These little touches will add up to be a lot. This can be a straw container, bottles of syrup, jars of cherries or olives. All of these finishing touches can make your bar cart perfect!
