The Power Of Food

18/10/2017

Throughout the years, there has been so much research conducted into the power of healthy food, and the dangers of bad food. Yet so many people choose a nice McDonald’s, over a wholesome meal. There’s good reason for this. Bad food seems to just taste so much better. The chemicals and preservatives pumped into the food are designed to taste better on the palate, and are in a way addictive for humans. But if you just give healthy foods a try, the below points will show your the rewards.

Weight Loss

So many people complain about wanting to lose weight, yet the first thing they reach for at lunch time is a chocolate bar and a bag of crisps. But it’s convenient, so why wouldn’t they? With healthy foods you do have to put in a little more prep to get the meal you’d like. But the lower salt, fats, and carbs that you’ll be eating means you’ll be dropping the pounds before you know it, and getting fit at the same time. To get the ball rolling, try something such as the shakes sold on sites such as https://www.isaelite.com.au/. There’s so much controversy about the effectiveness of shakes. But if you use it to get yourself going, then move to a diet such as the paleo one, you’ll be a few pounds thinner before you know it. Having a healthy BMI is so beneficial to you in the long run.

Energy

Nothing gives you more natural energy than good food. The natural release from healthy carbohydrates will fuel you for the day. Be sure to couple this with plenty of water, and even a few supplements and you’ll never need caffeine again. Start the day with a slow release carbohydrate filled breakfast such as porridge. Add a little sweetener in rather than sugar and by lunch time you’ll be fun of energy. Top this up with a healthy brown pasta tuna salad and you’re onto a winner. Try and drink at least two litres of water a day to keep yourself hydrated and energised. The natural sugars found in fruits are also a great replacement for caffeine or energy drinks. The amount of sugars put into energy drinks nowadays is so harmful to your stomach, your teeth and your overall healthy. It’s best to avoid these at all costs. Health Benefits

The health benefits of good food is always publicised through the TV and newspapers. Yet nearly half of the population of the UK is overweight or obese. The strain this puts on your body is huge, especially if the higher weight starts from a young age. Your heart and lungs will be under increased pressure from the strain, leading to issues such as heart disease, heart attacks, and breathing difficulties. Healthy eating however, promotes longer life, better endurance, stronger heart and lungs, and less risks of developing issues such as diabetes or even cancer. You’ll also be less susceptible to arthritis as your bones will grow stronger and healthier. It’s so important to get the whole family involved, for more reasons why take a read of this http://beingmrsc.com
