An Easy Guide to Finding the Best Bong for You

04/02/2022

Shopping for a new bong can feel like a daunting task- whether you are in the market as a beginner or an aviduser. There are several types of bongs and various elements to consider in selecting the perfect option for you. There is no need to fret because we have rounded up an easy guide to help you find the best one in the market:

Your Budget

The different elements of a perfect bong won’t mean much if the price does not fall within your budget. The first thing you need to do is have a budget. It is okay to have a smaller budget when you are new to them and have no idea what you want. Go for the inexpensive ones that will give you the most bang for your buck. Be realistic and realize that the range of options available on a smaller budget is limited. To enjoy a wider variety, you may need to set aside a generous amount.

Quality of Material

Different materials make bongs. The most popular ones are glass, metal, and ceramic. Look at the properties of the various materials to see which one will work best for you. Glass types are easier to clean because you can see the water level. That quality makes them popular with most people. That said, they are fragile and easy to break.

Also, some glass-made types can be thin, making them even more fragile. To counter that shortcoming, consider getting one from an online head shop that can ship to your doorstep. Ceramic ones carry the day with their visual appeal. However, they can be hard to maintain since you can’t see through them. You will also have to keep changing the water to give you the best smoking experience. An even better option is the chill bong that combines the best of both worlds. They have a stainless-steel material outside, making them sturdier. Their ceramic interior provides a smooth hit and is easy to clean.

Preferred Size

They also do come in different sizes. There are small, medium and large ones. If you need a stealthy piece that you can easily carry on the go, you should consider a smaller piece. But you have to bear in mind that a smaller one can be harder to clean. If you want that will assure a powerful hit, the bigger, the better.

Large-sized options have long smoke chambers allowing for air to flow smoothly. That helps minimize lung and throat irritation. That said, you may want to pass up one if weak-lunged. Consider an average-sized one that is more durable than small ones and easier to clean.

Desirable Design

There are several design aspects. They will come in different bases- beaker, round and straight. Straight-base options are more efficient since the smoke can travel up the tube with minimal drag. They also clear much faster. Beaker types, on the other hand, are more stable. With their large bases, you will never worry about toppling. Their shapes also allow for more volume to hold more water. That ensures better percolation. That said, beaker versions are harder to clear.

Conclusion

This guide shines some light on some factors to look out for when purchasing a bong. The ordeal does not have to be overwhelming anymore. Know the size, shape, and quality to help you pick the right one in the market.
