Running any small business can be tough, you need to be able to do all of the same things as a big company has to do, but you have much more limited resources. You’ll still need to deliver results while managing your team.

Hiring a big team to carry out all of the jobs that you need doing would be expensive and this is probably out of your reach. This will mean that all of the hard work will be split amongst a very small team.

Outsourcing is a great way around this. You could get another company to do the jobs that you haven’t the time or the resources. This will then free up your resources for you to focus on your core business goals.

In this article, we’ll look at some of the commonly outsourced jobs.

Cleaning

Whether you’re just having someone in to run the vacuum cleaner around the office, or you need your entire school cleaning, you could always hire a cleaning company to do the job for you. This will save you having to have someone on your payroll full-time and it will keep your hands free for running your business.

IT Services

IT is one of the biggest areas for outsourcing that there is. Many organizations will outsource their entire IT services department to save themselves on staffing costs. When you hire an IT managed service provider, you’ll be getting expert help at a price that will suit your budget,

Legal Services

While many big companies will have their own in-house legal team, how many small businesses have their own lawyers working in house? Not many. But you may require legal advice often in your line of work.

HR Services

If you run a small team, by the time you hire an HR manager to look after your small team, you’re already growing your team. Instead of having your own in-house HR manager, you could outsource them to a specialist HR manager who will service other clients too. This will save you the expense of that extra member of staff.

Social Media Management

Promoting your business via social media is a big job. It takes a lot of time and effort and if you run a tight ship, you probably don’t have the spare time in your busy day to be firing off Tweets and replying to messages. But these are important tasks.

Luckily, you can always outsource your social media management to a specialist firm who can handle all of your social media marketing.

SEO

Search Engine Optimization is something that any company with its own website needs to do. But SEO is a consuming task that takes time and effort. It is also not a one-click-fix. It is a constant task that will require you to repeatedly undertake tasks to improve your search rankings.

If you want to improve your SEO you should outsource to an SEO specialist who will be able to take your website to the next level.
