Easy Tips For A Stunning Garden

20/12/2019

When it comes to creating a beautiful garden, here are a few tried and true methods. And, the great thing about them is that it doesn’t matter how small your garden might be. They will work for anyone. Simply principles that can change how you feel about your garden.

A gorgeous garden really appeals to all of our senses. Of course, it is beautiful to look at, but there is so much more.

It is often the most simple concepts that can increase the enjoyment of your garden ten-fold.

Weed Control

There is nothing that will ruin the look and love that you have put into your garden then weeds. Often people will invest in quality compost, and it would be such a waste of the nutrients and cost to be enjoyed by weeds. Add an attractive mulch to help deter weeds.

Walls

If you have low walls in the garden, or perhaps some steps, then you can take some different size pots and cement them in place. That way, you can make use of a space that might ordinarily stay ordinary. Painting your walls, bright colours can also add interest and colour that can brighten the dullest of days.

Art

Art doesn’t have to be reserved only for the home. You can buy some beautiful pieces for your garden too. You don’t have to stick to gnomes, you can opt for almost anything that you like. From iron birds to mirrored pots. They add extra interest and colours. Bamboo blinds, wind-chimes, and even decorative wheelbarrows can do so much for the space.

Fake it

While real grass is wonderful, if you are looking for something that is low maintenance, then fake grass is the way to go. If you aren’t really sure where to start with things like synthetic grass, you can work together with a company like DD’s Landscaping. A landscape gardener will be able to guide you and create something you might not have considered possible.

Herbs

You can snuggle herbs and flowers in the same beds and have some stunning and fragrant results. Chives, basil, lemon thyme all work well with marigolds, tatsoi and violets. They bring a different texture to the patch and of course, the better they grow, the more often you can eat fresh herbs in your cooking.

Clutter

If you have a small space, then you are going to have to have a place for everything. Before you know it, you will be overrun with a mess, and the garden will become a chore again. Lidless wooden trucks are great for storing children’s toys or things like watering cans and other gardening tools.

Seating

You can fit a seat or a bench in almost any size of the garden. And actually sitting in the garden and having hot tea or coffee in the morning is the ideal way to start your morning. And it will give you a chance to enjoy your efforts too.

Vertical

If you have vertical space, then you can maximize it using trellis and climbing plants, or secure some hooks and planters and plant everything from hanging ivy to herbs.
