Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Mystery Puzzle

Back before Christmas I was one of those parents desperately trying to get my hands on a Hatchimal without having to remortgage the house to do so. Unfortunately Father Christmas didn’t come up trumps on this one and Little Miss C hasn’t let me forget it. That’s why, for her recent birthday, I made sure that I bought her a pack of Hatchimals CollEGGtibles which she loved. She was beyond thrilled when a few days later I produced a brand new Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Mystery Puzzle for her to help me review.

The way these Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Mystery Puzzles work is that you get a 48 piece jigsaw puzzle which makes a picture of one of two of the Hatchimals. You don’t know which one of the two puzzles you’re going to get until you open the box when you will find an instruction sheet along with the puzzle. The other thing that you get is a exclusive Hatchimals CollEGGtibles figure.

Hatchimals CollEGGtibles are a bit different to the larger Hatchimals. Rather than hatch themselves, children break open the small purple speckled eggs to reveal which figure is inside. The eggs have a small purple heart on them and you’re supposed to rub the heart until it turns pink and then their egg is ready to hatch. At that point it becomes easy to break the egg and LMC certainly didn’t seem to have any problems in doing so.

The Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Mystery Puzzle is aimed at children aged 5 and up which I think is pretty much spot on. The pieces are nice and chunky for little hands to hold, but with 48 pieces it’s slightly more challenging that many puzzles. The instruction sheet is a nice touch though as it has the puzzle pieces drawn on it, making it a bit easier for children to work out where all the pieces go.

Little Miss C was so excited to break into her new Hatchimals CollEGGtible and was very excited to have a jigsaw of the same figure. Hatchimals CollEGGtibles Mystery Puzzles certainly make a great gifts for any Hatchimals fan. They’re due out in toyshops and online very, very soon and just as soon as they are I’ll link to where you can buy them here.
