Being woken up in the early hours of the morning to the noise of a swanee whistle coming over the baby monitor is a bit of a strange experience. That’s the risk you have though when you get your little one a Clangers Squeeze and Whistle Plush – or at least it is with my son!
Master C was super excited to unwrap a Squeeze ‘n’ Whistle Tiny and she has soon become a firm friend. After three years of just being attached to his favourite cuddly toy dog he’s now started taking a huge interest in other toys and treating them like friends. Tiny Clanger was one of the first and certainly the only other toy that he’s wanted to take to pre-school with him.
Tiny Clanger is utterly adorable. Made with a lovely knitted fabric, soft ears and detailed fingers – if you can call them fingers? Her pink waistcoat is sewn on at the back and she’s wearing an orange bow in her hair. There’s no doubt thats he’s incredibly tactile, and most excitingly, if you squeeze her tummy she talks, in that adorable swanee whistle way that Clangers do.
Squeeze ‘n’ Whistle Tiny Clanger, or her brother Small, would make perfect Christmas presents for any little (or big!) Clangers fans. They sell at £9.99, but another great thing about Clangers this Christmas is that, from 6th December until Christmas Eve, Toys ‘R’ Us will have them all at 30 % off. That means that these Squeeze ‘n Whistle Clangers are only £6.99 in store! You can see the whole range online here.
Also available is the Whistle and Dance Mother Clanger (£19.99), Musical Starlight Tiny (£24.99) and the Home Planet Playset (£24.99).
Master C is absolutely delighted with Tiny Clanger – I just wish he wouldn’t wake up in the middle of the night and feel the need to make her talk!
