Joining in with Warburtons Krazy Kitchen

22/08/2013

In a house with two small children lunchtime (in fact all mealtimes!) feel somewhat crazy. There's often tears, laughter, shouting, screaming and food thrown across the room – and all that's just from eleven month old Master C!

As the one who has to make lunch everyday things can get a bit monotonous though and that's where Warburtons have tried to inject a bit of "krazy" fun into the usual routine. They've launched a gameshow on their Facebook page (possibly the first Facebook gameshow ever?) where two families compete against each other in the Warburtons Krazy Kitchen to make the best sandwich whilst everything goes crazy around them. It's the McDermotts against the Griffiths and we see mum vs mum, dad vs dad, chid vs child in highly competitve games, whilst everything goes mad around them. The first three episodes of this are already live and definitely worth  watch . The last installment will be released tomorrow, Friday 23 August 2013, so make sure you head over and check it out too.

To help bloggers and their families join in with the krazy kitchen fun Warburtons sent us a hamper containing everything we needed to make some of their Krazy Kitchen recipes.

Also in there were a few things to add to the "kraziness" which the kids seemed to appreciate.

When it came to the lunch itself I made the Chicken Supreme (although I just used ready cooked chicken) with the Warburtons Sandwich Thins and also the Tex-Mex Mayhem with their Square Wraps. Both were extremely quick and easy to make (perfect for lunchtime when you've two children under your feet providing the kraziness!) and tasted delicious.

Lunch was much more interesting that just having sandwiches made with sliced bread or white rolls which is what we often do. A degree of kraziness also livened up our lunchtime.

Disclaimer: I received a payment for this post and a hamper of goodies to make the recipes featured above.
