With everything going on here at the moment there’s no doubt that relaxing and unwinding should be top of my to do list, but finding time to do so can be a bit problematic. I was rather pleased to be asked to review the Relax and Unwind Bath Soak from Cussons Mum and Me Bump Range as I figured that I could then justify having a relaxing bubble bath as being “work related”!
The thing I particularly like about this bath soak is that it does actually seem to lead to a better night’s sleep if I use if just before bedtime. Made with camomile to help you relax it’s not overly scented (a good thing in pregnancy when your senses go a bit mad) but also bubbles up nicely and leaves your skin feeling lovely and soft.
The new Cussons Mum & Me range has been designed by mums, and Cussons listened to over 1,200 real mums to find out what they wanted out of products for themselves (both before and after birth) and also for their babies. Cussons themselves have been making products for our skin and hair for over 100 years so expanding what they do to cover mums and babies specifically was a natural extension of this.
The range is split into three: Bump range, New Mum Range and the Baby Range. Having gone through pregnancy and birth before I know that your body, skin and hair change a lot and things don’t just go back to “normal” as soon a baby comes into the world. It takes a while and you can do with a bit of help to get there too! I’m therefore hoping that the New Mum Range will help me get my skin and hair back to being me post birth and if Baby C enjoys bath time as much as his or her big sister does them I’m sure they’ll also enjoy trying out the Baby Range. Until then I’ll concentrate on relaxing and unwinding…
