He may not realise it yet, but there’s quite a lot of pressure on my husband this year come March 15th. Not only is it Mother’s Day, but it’s also our wedding anniversary (and his Mother in Law’s birthday the day before too!)
When it comes to ordering Mothers Day flowers it’s something that just has to be completely right first time with no margin for error. I was pleased therefore to be asked to trial run the Flower Delivery for the big day by reviewing a bouquet from Debenhams Flowers.
I chose the Beautiful Day bouquet which had some lovely muted shades and a classic style to it.
The flowers arrived by courier in a smart looking cardboard box.
Inside was the bouquet itself, wrapped up in paper and some cellophane round the stems, and the gift card with a personalised message on it.
The bouquet was stunning with a beautiful selection of flowers which lasted for about 10 days in a vase on my kitchen table. They also smelt gorgeous and drew some lovely comments from visitors.
Featuring avalanche roses, scented pink LA lilies and antique carnations the Beautiful Day bouquet really stood out for me on their website as I loved the muted colours and vintage style. It is certainly a bouquet that I think would work well for mums of all different ages and it also fits in well with interiors ranging from modern and sleek to more traditional.
As they sat in a vase on my (somewhat chaotic) kitchen table, they somehow brought a calm and tranquil air to the room and I really miss them now that they’ve finished. Would it be wrong to suggest that I’d like the same ones again come Mothers Day?
