As I've mentioned before there seems to be a bit of a thing about books featuring dinosaurs at the moment and Dino-Mummy clearly fits into that category too.
Dino-Mummy is actually a follow on from Dino-Baby, which somehow passed me by when it was released, and it sets out to show just how amazing us mums are and how we all have multi-tasking down as a fine art!
As I know only too well life in a house with two small children (an older girl and a baby boy) is pretty chaotic and it seems that Dino-Mummy has exactly the same challenges as I do. She amazingly keeps on top of everything though and strangely you don't see her hiding in the kitchen with a bar of chocolate and a cup of tea whilst the children are plonked in front of cBeebies. I'm sure that's just an omission from the text though and will be included in any updates…
As well as being fun to read Dino-Mummy did give Little Miss C a bit more of an idea of all the things that her Mummy does around the house and how I'm there for her whenever she needs anything. I'm not sure if necessarily made her appreciate me any more, but at least a seed of understanding seems to have been planted!

We’ve been enjoying all things dinosaur along with CBeebies dinosaur week so it would be lovely to add a book to our collection that I will appreciate as a mother and little one will appreciate as it includes dinosaurs!

Ah yes – Id nearly forgotten dinosaur week (we tend to watch cBeebies only on iPlayer) but it would definitely fit in well with that.
