I can't quite believe it – 29 October and we had snow! Mr C and I went out this evening to the St Albans Blog meet-up tonight and we had to trudge through snow to get there and back again. I certainly wasn't expecting that in October!

Also… have you been going through my reading list… I swear you have listed my whole bookshelf!!

I’m not far away from you either… just a short drive up the A1

Promise Auntie Doris that I haven’t been raiding your bookshelf – although I’m guessing that charity shops in Hertfordshire must all be getting similar stock in!
Auntie Doris says
Well, if you want to punt any of the Ladies Detective Agency books over to me, they are on my reading list 😉

Nice to meet you at the Portland. Good to see you are a fan of Elspeth’s who is a lovely woman (and a big fan of shedworking!).

I was on my way home from a Red Cross Meeting Monday night and we had a brief–very brief–flurry. Even for the Midwest, it’s a bit early for snow. Should be an interesting winter.
